Joel has spent more than 25 years outsourcing work to different locations around the world. From an agent in the late 1990’s to BPO leadership positions, his last corporate role was as Global Head of Call Centre Procurement for Vodafone where he was responsible for securing circa 85,000 agents across 35 countries and dozens of suppliers, driving commercial and contractual innovation. This role gave Joel a unique perspective on what attracts international buyers to locations like Jamaica. Over the last two years he has been building The Knowledge Group (tkg) (link to www.welovetoknow.com) a specialist procurement & managed services organisation that helps buyers of BPO services find a provider. TKG are not brokers and are funded by buyers not providers.
