Claude Duncan
Claude Duncan is Country Head, Jamaica and Associate Vice
President for Sutherland.
He is an experienced and tech-savvy executive who has more than
30 years’ experience in technology, operations and professional
services management in varied industries.
With a solid background in developing and leading teams, he has
been instrumental in driving improvements in process and
governance while delivering on sales results and strategic
operational metrics.
He has held senior leadership roles in major private sector companies such as SUNTORY, LENOVO
and IBM, and in the public sector at Jamaica’s Investment and Export Promotion agency, JAMPRO,
where he was responsible for the trade and investment portfolios across all sectors of the Jamaican
economy. Among other achievements, he is credited with developing and driving the aggressive
growth of Jamaica’s outsourcing industry which is now a cornerstone industry.
Claude has BSc. (Hons) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of the West
Indies, St Augustine and a MBA from the University of New Orleans.
