Christopher Issa and his Spanish Court Hotel team opened up their fabulous Cabana Pool area last Friday night to the Montego Bay-based Business Process Industry Association of Jamaica (BPIAJ) to host its first Outsource2Jamaica cocktail reception in St Andrew.
The event was staged in collaboration with a number of OutSource2Jamaica’s partners, including C&W Business, AMCHAM, the Port Authority of Jamaica, Itel BPO, and Jamaica Prootions Corporation (JAMPRO).
Hosted by BPIAJ president Gloria Henry, the strategic thinker, renowned for moving mountains in the second city, spoke of the importance of embarking on the association’s first high-level conference.
“We will be hosting the first Outsource2Jamaica Symposium & Expo in April from the 11th to the 13th at the Montego Bay Convention Centre, and this event will be executed during the National Outsourcing Week 2018.”
Henry told the gathering of a group of Kingston corporate companies that the event will become the platform to educate and highlight developments within the sector and the clusters that support it.
She spoke of the national growth agenda and Kingston’s place as a fast-emerging outsourcing location for high-value services.
“This has been borne out with the recent expansion and continued growth of existing operations as well as the new developments across the Corporate Area and Portmore,” she stated.
Being staged under the theme ‘Innovation through Digital Transformation’, the event’s strategic partners are Nearshore Americas and Ryan Strategic Advisory.
